East London Biogas

East London Biogas is located on a 4.7-acre site on the London Sustainable Industry Park in Dagenham, East London. Due to the commercial and operational success of the plant, continuous incremental expansions have been undertaken since its construction. In 2021, the feedstock capacity was increased to 70,000 tonnes p.a. enabling even more food waste to be converted to renewable energy and biofertiliser in the drive to Net Zero and to provide vital support for the local area requirements.
