David McKee announced as Interim CEO

We are excited to announce David McKee has returned to Bio Capital as our new Interim CEO.

David was previously Bio Capital’s Chief Technical Officer and also oversaw the successful development and expansion of our Granville Eco Park in Northern Ireland. A recognised leading expert in anaerobic digestion and biogas production, David brings over 20 years of experience and expertise in senior roles within the renewable energy sector.

Commenting on his appointment, David said: “I’m thrilled to be taking up the role of Interim CEO. This is an amazing business, and we are very fortunate to have so many passionate and committed people.

“These are hugely exciting times to be part of Bio Capital, the anaerobic digestion sector, and to be advancing the UK’s energy transition together with leading infrastructure investor Equitix, who have taken full ownership of the business. Bio Capital has already seen great success, but our potential moving forward is huge, and a key part of my role will be to fully unlock that potential.”

All of us at Bio Capital are excited and looking forward to a new and exciting chapter under David’s leadership.
